DUTIES
The contractor will be a full-time member of the J5-DSC performing a broad range of IT support activities.
- The Contractor shall provide an appropriately skilled and trained Systems Engineer to perform all required configurations of workstations (to include administration rights) in support of DSC events and daily DSC staff activities. This includes, but is not limited to, all laptops, desktops, servers, switches, printers, phones, and any other electronic equipment. The contractor shall ensure that all equipment is operational prior to starting all events and provide support for the resolution of all incidents during events.
- DSC AV/VTC Support. The contractor shall provide an appropriately skilled and trained Systems Engineer to support all the AV/VTC systems within the DSC. The contractor will ensure that all equipment operational capabilities are tested prior to an event and provide dedicated set up, operations, and troubleshooting all AV/VTC devices. The contractor will schedule all SVTCs and shall also support the recording of all events.
- The Contractor shall provide an appropriately skilled and trained Systems Engineer to coordinate with SOCOM/J6 to ensure DSC hardware and software assets are kept up to date in accordance with SOCOM/J6 directives and to provide commonly used parts to repair or replace expendable parts as needed. Contractor will provide a list of J6/manufacture-recommended parts and replacement costs and
- ensure proper disposal of expended items. Contractor shall assist government in maintaining accountability of all required DSC IT assets.
- The Contractor shall provide an appropriately skilled and trained Systems Engineer to perform all required functions/configurations (related to Active Directory) of SOCOM SIE DSC shared network
- drives (to include administration rights) in support of DSC events and daily DSC staff activities. This includes, but is not limited to, DSC personnel accounts, guest accounts, and any permissions required by other users in support of DSC events and daily activities.
- The contractor shall ensure security procedures and regulations are strictly adhered to in the processing of classified materials. The Contractor shall safeguard classified or sensitive related information and or files.
Experience:
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Computer Science
- 10 years IT support exp.
- ITTL V4 Foundations Certified, A+ certified, Security+ certified, MCP, XP, MS Office, Adobe, Powershell, Cybersecurity, Misc Microsoft products and support s/w.
- TS w SCI eligibility required.
